Autumn Is Officially Here: Fall Flowers, Spooky Season & A Peek Behind the Scenes at Plattsburgh Flower Market

It's Official - Autumn Arrived 2 Days Ago!
Well, it's official, friends. Autumn made its grand entrance 2 days ago, and if you live in Plattsburgh you felt it.
That first morning of fall hit different - the air was crisp, a little colder, and you could just tell the gardens got the memo. Things are definitely slowing down out there. The summer annuals are winding down, the dahlias and mums are having their final starring moment, and the trees around the North Country are starting to warm up with color.
We are officially in that cozy, in-between window where it's still fall leaves and pumpkin spice, but spooky season is peeking around the corner. It's our favorite time of year at the shop.
Fall Flowers Are Having a Moment
This is when flowers get really good. We're putting away the bright, beachy summer palette and diving into everything warm, textured, and moody.
Think toffee and caramel roses, burnt orange spray mums, deep burgundy dahlias, creamy white pumpkins as vases, dried lotus pods, eucalyptus, and those rich, saturated reds and golds that match the Adirondack foliage perfectly.
Whether you need a cozy bouquet for your kitchen table or a full fall arrangement for your front porch in Plattsburgh, Beekmantown, or Peru - now is the time.
Let's Settle This: What's Your Fall / Halloween Decorating Style?
We are designing our October collections RIGHT NOW and we need your help. We want to know what vibe you're going for this year:

1. Fun & Playful Halloween? Happy ghosts, candy corn colors, smiling jack-o-lanterns, purple and orange pops. Bright, cheerful, and kid-approved.
2. Sophisticated Cremes & Neutrals? White pumpkins, taupe and mocha roses, dried pampas grass, black ceramic vases. That chic, elevated, neutral fall look that's all over Instagram.
3. Classic Fall Leaves & Rich Saturated Colors? You want it to look like peak foliage in a vase. Sunflowers, maple leaves, deep reds, burnt orange, and golden yellow. Pure autumn.
4. Gore & Blood Scary Halloween? The haunted house lovers. Black roses, blood-red ranunculus, twisted black branches, dark and dramatic. Bring on the spooky.

Behind the Scenes: We're Already Thinking About Christmas
I know, I know. We just put on a sweater and I'm saying the C-word.
But behind the scenes at Plattsburgh Flower Market, we're in full holiday planning mode. To get the best ribbon, ornaments, winter greens, and holiday flowers, you have to place your Christmas / Winter orders months in advance. So yes, there is already a little bit of tinsel floating around the studio while we drink our pumpkin coffee.
And that brings us to our next big question for you:
What are your holiday colors this year?

Are you classic red and green forever? Or are you feeling a little alternative? We're seeing SO many requests for winter white and woodsy green, glam black and gold, icy winter blue and silver, and even that trendy vintage pink and blush Christmas!
Tell us in the comments - Are you classic red & green, or are you team pink, black, white, or blue this winter? We use your answers to order our holiday inventory.
P.S. - What's New on Our Website
