Plant Characteristics

  • Philodendron 'Brasil': A classic vining plant with heart-shaped leaves that are a vibrant mix of bright green and lime-green or yellow splashes.
  • Philodendron 'Brandtianum' (Silver Stripe): A graceful vining philodendron with heart-shaped leaves and beautiful silvery-gray stripes that follow the leaf veins.

  • Philodendron 'Gloriosum': A rare and highly sought-after crawler with large, velvety, heart-shaped leaves and beautiful white veins.
  • Philodendron 'Florida Green': A fast-growing hybrid with large, lobed, bright green leaves that give it a unique and bold shape.
  • Philodendron 'Jose Bueno': A collector's plant with stunning, long, dark green leaves that are irregularly variegated with beautiful splashes of white and yellow.
  • Philodendron 'Pink Princess': A favorite for its dark, nearly black leaves with splashes of vibrant pink variegation.
  • Philodendron 'White Princess': A captivating variety with classic green leaves that are beautifully speckled with white and light green variegation.
  • Philodendron 'Billietiae': A beautiful climbing Philodendron with long, strap-like, deep green leaves and striking orange petioles.
  • Philodendron 'Jungle Boogie' (aka 'Tiger Tooth'): A fun and quirky plant with long, serrated leaves that give it a unique, tropical look.
  • Philodendron 'Congo Rojo': A self-heading hybrid with large, glossy, dark green leaves and a striking deep red color on the stems and new foliage.
  • Philodendron 'Prince of Orange': A vibrant self-heading Philodendron that unfurls new leaves in a bright orange color, which then fade to green as they mature.
  • Philodendron 'Birkin': A compact, upright plant with dark green leaves and delicate, creamy-white pinstripes that become more prominent with age.
  • Philodendron 'Choco Empress' (aka 'Imperial Red'): A lush, upright Philodendron with large, glossy leaves that emerge in a deep, reddish-brown color before maturing to a deep green.
  • Philodendron 'Painted Lady': A beautiful climbing Philodendron with heart-shaped leaves that have a brilliant yellow-green mottled variegation and bright pink petioles.
  • Philodendron 'Variegated Ring of Fire': A highly prized plant with long, serrated leaves that feature a stunning and ever-changing mosaic of green, cream, yellow, and orange variegation.

Care Instructions

  • Light: Most Philodendrons prefer bright, indirect light. Direct sun can scorch their leaves, especially on the variegated varieties. They can tolerate lower light, but growth may slow down.
  • Water: Water thoroughly when the top 1-2 inches of soil feel dry. They are sensitive to overwatering, so it's important to let the soil dry out a bit between waterings.
  • Humidity: They thrive in average to high humidity. Occasional misting or a nearby humidifier can help them thrive.
  • Soil: A well-draining, airy potting mix is essential.
  • Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer once a month during the growing season (spring and summer).

Special Notes

Philodendrons are a fantastic choice for adding diverse foliage to your home. Their wide range of growth habits—from vining to self-heading—allows them to be used in various ways, from hanging baskets to floor plants. Please be aware that while beautiful, these plants are toxic if ingested by pets or children.
