Summer is flying by!! Wow how the summer is flying. I can't believe July is 1/2
over already. It's been quite the busy busy summer this year 2010. Weekends are filled with happy brides.
Congrats to all the couples filled with wedded bliss this summer! Before you know it we will enter into fall and then
winter again. Oh how we dread the winter, but fresh flowers help tide us over until we see bulb flowers like tulips
pop up from the garden in the spring again. A bit of exciting news from Plattsburgh Flower
Market: We entered into a contest to win a display cooler from SRC refridgeration earlier this year to celebrate their
30 yr anniversary. Never thinking we'd ever win, we entered and then we went about our business, made it through the
Mother's Day holiday and received a phone call just a couple of days afterwards and were told that we were the lucky
winners of the cooler. How excited we were. Never won anything ever in our lives! We set up the delivery
for mid-July and the cooler was just delivered by an extremely large truck and wheeled into the shop and set into place.
The cooler was plugged in and should be ready for fresh flowers within a day or two. I'll be sure to post pictures of the
first flowers to inhabit the cooler. Besides that there is nothing really news worthy.
Remember that we are always open 7 days a week and that we do offer delivery service. We offer flowers for just
about any occasion. Excited about what the future brings and still having fun with flowers. Stop by and say hi!
Til next month, stay tuned and stay safe.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010 With the entrance into a new decade, brings new changes to the
Plattsburgh Flower Market website. The website is going to be getting a refreshing makeover. In the beginning
months you will see a user friendly catalog where you can view pictures faster and read descriptions on the products
we have available. The pages of Sympathy & Wedding will also be getting a well needed makeover. With these
changes it will become necessary to eliminate some of the pages on our navigation bar. We apologize if this is
of any inconvienence. January brings cold dreary winter days. Many people experience
cabin fever and depression due to the lack of sunshine. What better way to cheer someone out of these blues than
with some fresh cut flowers or flowering plants from Plattsburgh Flower Market.
January is a month where people take down their holiday decorations and peoples homes becomes bare. Foliage
& Flowering plant gardens are the perfect gift to give anyone wishing to freshen up their house a little bit. Potted plants
remove toxins and pollutants from the air and provide us with rich oxygen to breathe. Many New Year's resolutions
are to get healthy, and isn't oxygen an important player in that?? Behind the scene's here at Plattsburgh
Flower Market we are busily working to transform the holiday scenery into bright cheery colors and then soon into
Reds, Pinks, & Purples of Valentine's Day which is just around the corner and will be here before we know it. Reserve
your roses early. Again I'd like to say thank you for following
and welcome to this new and exciting decade. Welcome to January 2010. Next month stay tuned for Valentine's Fun.

I know it was such a short summer with all the rain we received. So sad to see it go, but before we know it we'll

Happy August Happy August everyone! We've had some nice summer days but
they are few and far between this summer. Everyweek it is nothing but rain. What a great occasion to buy flowers.
We have seen a real increase in customers requesting yellow flowers or an arrangement to cheer someone up because this rainy,
stormy weather can become depressing. Our smilie face mug and planters have become great sellers for this time.
You can't help but smile when you look at a bright yellow smilie face! No major holidays in
August. You don't have to worry about missing a holiday here. Kids are making school supply purchases and getting
ready to head back to school this month. College kids are finding apartments or housing for this coming school semester.
Don't forget that we carry a variety of houseplants in various sizes. I'm sure that we have the perfect plant or garden for
your dorm room or apartment. Plants help provide oxygen and rid the air of toxic chemicals from house cleaning
and computers. Stay safe and healthy this coming semester. We have changed the shop layout
slightly to keep it fresh and fun. Stop in and see us this month! We have been in constant contact with our
suppliers for fun and funky fall containers for the coming season. Weddings and Everyday Flowers have kept
us busy this summer. We can't wait to see what the fall is to bring. Fall is an exciting time of year
because the colors of flowers are so rich. Browns, oranges, yellows, and bronzes make a stunning combination.
Add some purple and watch the colors pop!! Birds, leaves, and acorns are just some of the many accents that we carry
to really personalize our arrangements. At work and not able to stop into the shop, but
need to order some flowers??? View Our Cooler Now page on our website www.plattsburghflowermarket.com for all of our current arrangements available. All you have to do is call up and
say "I'm on your website and I want that one!!" You know exactly what your getting. How exciting!
I have also set this up on our Plush Animals page along with our Plants page at www.plattsburghflowermarket.com Remember that we are Open and Delivering 7 days a week so keep us in mind for all your
floral needs. Have a happy fun filled rest of your summer and hope that you will join us for
September's blog: Labor Day, beginning of fall, and back to school for many kids. Thank you for all your support
throughout the year and hope that if you have never used us for flowers that you will contact us or even better, stop
in to at least meet us. Thank you and take care.
